After an amazing Week-3, we stepped into Week-4 of the mentorship program. Week 4 was all about interviews and how to prepare for them. This week’s mentorship call was extremely fruitful because our mentor, Saumya Singh, shared some valuable resources for interview preparation.

At the beginning of our call, Saumya inspired all of us with the interview experience she shared and put forward some tips to ace them. She also shared a specially curated company-specific question bank that will definitely help us. They consisted of Leetcode problems, shared by her peers. She also shared her notes that will be beneficial to us during interview preparation.

One excellent resource that can help you get started with your interview preparation is here. An awesome list of events and fellowship opportunities for computer science students is here. Another interesting resource is this website that lets you add flashcards to test your CS knowledge.

In addition to such amazing resources, she also gave us some more tips on interviews and how to crack them like a pro. Some of them are:

  1. It is very important to ask questions to the interviewer.
  2. It shows that you’re willing, eager to work there.
  3. Don’t worry too much. Make sure your interview goes like a conversation.
  4. Lastly, don’t get upset over rejections. Failure is not final.

This was all about Week 4. I hope this article helped you in some way. :)
